Egypt’s GASC purchases 405k tonnes of Russian wheat in global tender

The Egyptian General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) purchased 405,000 tonnes of Russian wheat in an international tender.

This move comes part of the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade’s strategy to ensure a strategic reserve of key commodities, according to a statement late on Tuesday.

The shipment will take place between 21 and 30 November.
