Egypt’s GDP grew 4.3 percent during the third quarter of the current financial year 2016/2017, Minister of Planning Hala El-Saeed said Thursday.
The increase was triggered by a growth in the country’s tourism, transport, industrial, and construction sector, the Egyptian minister added.
Egypt is targeting growth rates of four percent at the end of next June and between 6 and 6.5 percent within 2020, the Egyptian minister said earlier in March.
