Egypt’s Hatem Saleh Inaugurates New Factory For Packaging At EGP110 mln

The Egyptian Minister of Industry, Hatem Saleh, opened Thursday morning the factory “BET”, which is specialized in the packaging. This project is implemented by joint Egyptian Saudi investments estimated at EGP 110 million for the first phase, achieve EGP80 million annually and 200 direct job opportunities. Also the expectant direct export volume is 30% and 60% indirect export.

 Saleh has confirmed that the ministry never slackens to take any decision for sustaining the industry sector so that it can contribute to promoting its competition, whether in the local market or the global one. The Egyptian industry is the development engine for the Egyptian industry as it has huge and distinguished industrial capabilities.

These statements came during his visit Tuesday morning to the 10th of Ramadan City and inaugurated a big factory in the field of packaging. In addition, the Egyptian minister visited one of the new factories for cosmetics that will start its production next September.

Saleh added that opening these new factories is a message to reassure the investors that Egypt is safe and it strongly continues achieving the complete stability. This was reflected positively on the industrial growth rates as well a s the export rates.
