Egyptian Industrial Development Authority (IDA) has received 30 requests on behalf of trade ministry to establish factories in the new industrial zone in Minya governorate, minister Tarek Qabil said Sunday.
Speaking to Amwal Al Ghad, the minister stated that most of the requests are focusing on investing in building materials industries notably calcium carbonate and cement with its all types.
Minya’s new industrial zone is set to be established on the space of 10 million meters.
According to the IDA, applicants have to submit technical, financial and economic feasibility study.
Moreover, Industrial Development Authority plans to issue another plots whose spaces are estimated at 10 million meters in 10th of Ramadan City next February.
