Egypt’s Industries Federation awards “Sustainable Development” prize to 6 firms

The Environmental Compliance Office and Sustainable Development (ECOSD) at Federation of Egyptian Industries (FEI) awarded “Pioneer Business to Achieve Sustainable Development 2015”  prize  to six companies Tuesday.

The six companies are Unilever Mashreq, Juhayna, Sidi Kerir Petrochemicals – Sidpec, Alexandria Carbon Black Co SAE, Asfour Crystal, Beni Suef Cement Company owned by the Titan Group. Additionally, an number of medium and small companies have been awarded.

The awarding ceremony was organised by the federation in its headquarters.

The Executive Director of ECOSD Ahmed Kamal clarified that the competition between the Egyptian firms  and international ones that work in the Egypt was strong. Around 190 firms have participated in the competition, the official said.
