Egypt’s Misr Emirates Life Takaful renews reinsurance deals with Gen Re for 2023

Misr Emirates Life Takaful – Salama has renewed its reinsurance contracts for another year, its managing director told Amwal Al Ghad on Monday.

Sherif Azzazy further said that his company renewed its agreement with the lead reinsurer, General Reinsurance Corporation (Gen Re) under good terms and conditions.

The 2023 contract includes African Reinsurance Corporation (Africa Re) and Reinsurance Group of America (RGA), Azzazy added.

“We have also reached an agreement for renewal with Hannover Re Bahrain for 2023.” Azzazy said.

Founded in 2015, Misr Emirates Life Takaful – Salama is an Egyptian joint stock company providing Takaful Life insurance in Egypt in accordance with the rules of Islamic law and subject to the provisions of Law No 10 of 1981.
