Egypt’s construction firm Societe Egyptienne D’entreprises (Moukhtar Ibrahim) has imported a new bunch of up-to-date equipment worth 250 million Egyptian pounds ($28.2 million), an official in the company announced Sunday.
In cooperation with one of the local leasing firms, Moukhtar Ibrahim has imported the new equipment; which are wheel loaders and dredgers geared to carry out a number of road projects, Mohamed Al-Khatib, deputy chairman for financial and administrative affairs, said.
This comes as part of Moukhtar Ibrahim’s plans to develop and upgrade its machinery through purchasing the most updated from abroad a move aimed at winning new local and international tenders, Al-Khatib added.
