Arab-German chamber to discuss BAU 2017 preparations on Sept 27

The Arab-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry is organising a seminar on September 27 to put the final touches for BAU 2017 exhibition, the world’s leading trade fair for architecture, materials, and systems. BAU 2017 will take place in Munich, Germany, on January 16-21.

The planned seminar will be held under the auspices and in the presence of Ibrahim Mahlab, Egyptian president’s assistant for national and strategic projects.

The BAU Exhibition takes place every biennium in Munich with more than 250,000 visitors and 2000 participant companies all over the world which makes it the most iconic event in the architectural sector.

The seminar is set to tackle the new trends as well as global technologies used in producing materials of construction that will be exhibited in the event. Moreover, details of major construction projects in Egypt will be showcased in the seminar.

Markus Sporer, Deputy Exhibition Director of BAU 2017,will participate in this seminar along with Walid Gamal Eldin,Chairman of the Export Council of Building Materials; Mahmoud Hegazy, Chairman of the Holding Company for Construction and Development; and Hassan Abdel Aziz, Head of the Egyptian Federation for Construction and Building Contractors (EFCBC).
