NUCA allocates $45million for Egypt’s Sheikh Zayed City in FY 2016/2017

Egypt’s New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) allocated 400 million Egyptian pounds ($45million) in favour of Sheikh Zayed City budget of 2016/2017 fiscal year compared to 460 million pounds a year earlier, an official said.

Gamal Talaat, the head of Sheikh Zayed City Authority, said that the authority is planning to push for additional financial accreditation of 300 million Egyptian pounds, to make use of them in the planned projects.

Furthermore, the authority has assigned an Armed Forces affiliated company to carry out a 350-Megawatt power plant with total cost of 700 million Egyptian pounds spread over an area of 4 feddans within a year and half.
