Egypt’s NUCA approves allocation of 32 lands in new cities

Egyptian New Urban Communities Authority’s (NUCA) board has approved the allocation of 32 land plots in 14 new cities, according to an April 15th Cabinet statement, Arab Finance reported on Wednesday.

The lands are designated for projects with various activities such as residential, industrial, medical, educational, and commercial, the statement added.

The board, headed by Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Assem el Gazzar, has also nodded to the authority’s statement of financial position and final accounts for the financial year 2018/2019.

On April 14th, El Gazzar has discussed the mechanism of establishing 250,000 social housing units nationwide. The units will be allotted to youth and low-income citizens.
