Egypt’s oil exports fell to $1.97bln in first two months of 2023

Egypt’s Central Agency for Public Mobilisation and Statistics (CAPMAS) said that the fuel exports value saw a $769 million decline during January and February 2023 to record $1.97 billion from $2.74 billion 2022.

The crude oil exports decreased by 58.8 percent to reach about $243 million, compared with $590 million during the same period, a decline of $347 million, CAPMAS’s report added.

While, the petroleum products exports value fell to $291 million in January and February 2023, from $528 million in January and February 2022, recording a decline of $237 million.
