Egypt’s petroleum sector grows 0.7% in Q3, first rise since FY2023/24

Egypt’s petroleum sector grew 0.7 per cent in the third quarter of fiscal year 2025/26, its first expansion since the first quarter of fiscal 2023/24, Planning Minister Ahmed Rostom said on Wednesday.

Speaking at a Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly, Rostom said higher domestic production of crude oil, condensates, and butane gas had driven the sector’s recovery.
