Egypt’s PM forms ministerial economic group

Egyptian Prime Minister, Dr Moustafa Madbouly, has issued a decision to form the ministerial economic group.

The group will be chaired by the Prime Minister and will comprise the Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt, the Minister of Planning and Economic Development and International Co-operation, the Minister of Finance, the Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, and the Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade.

The Ministerial  Economic Group will be responsible for establishing the general framework for the country’s economic and financial policies. This includes various initiatives aimed at boosting growth and employment while ensuring financial sustainability and economic stability. The group will also review Egypt’s economic indicators on a quarterly basis.
