Egyptian Premiere arrives in Johannesburg for the African Summit

Egyptian Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab arrives to Johannesburg International Airport, South Africa on Saturday to head Egypt’s delegation to the African summit.

Mahlab left Cairo on Friday, heading for South Africa to take part in the NEPAD and the African summits on behalf of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.

The PM was received by a number of South African officials in addition to Egypt’s Foreign Affairs minister Sameh Shokry and Egypt’s ambassador to South Africa Sherif Naguib.

Egyptian minister of State Environment Affairs Khaled Fahmy accompanied the PM during the visit.

Furthermore, Mahlab will deliver Egypt’s speech before the African Summit, during which he will highlight the deeply-rooted Egyptian-African relations and ways of enhancing them during the next phase.

Moreover, Egypt’s premiere will also review Egypt’s development efforts and facilitation provided for Africans to invest in Egypt and to support the Egyptian-African trade.
