Egypt’s Prosecutor General Re-Freezes Hussein Salem’s Stocks In EGX

According to senior sources, the decree on freezing the stocks of Egyptian tycoon Hussein Salem and his wife has been already issued by the former prosecutor general Abdel Maguid Mahmoud in March 2011.

As for the newly-assigned Prosecutor General Talaat Abdallah, he has actually re-issued a decree on Monday in regard to freeze the stocks and bonds owned by Hussein Salem and his wife amid squandering public funds charges.

Accordingly, the Egyptian Exchange management has executed Abdallah’s decree No.17/2012 on freezing the stocks and bonds owned by the Egyptian businessman alongside his family. The decree includes freezing all the movable and immovable assets, real estates, bank accounts, and shares in companies.
