Egypt’s secondary market indices surged in the first half of 2024, according to the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority‘s (FRA) latest report showed on Wednesday. The EGX30 index climbed 57.18 per cent to 27,766.27 Egyptian pounds, while the EGX100 EWI rose by 71.40 per cent to 8,985.15 Egyptian pounds, compared to 5,242.31 Egyptian pounds the previous year.
Additionally, the Tamayuz Index reached 6,558.19 Egyptian pounds, reflecting a 22.31 per cent growth from 5,361.91 Egyptian pounds.
