Egypt’s securities issuances surged to 148.9 billion Egyptian pounds in the second quarter of 2024, a 25.09 per cent increase from the previous year. The Financial Supervisory Authority (FRA) attributed the growth primarily to a 101.4 billion pound jump in stock issuances for capital increases. Non-stock securities issuances also rose by 8.55 per cent to 11.2 billion pounds.
