Egypt’s state-run construction firms receive 200 mln pounds dues at end-2017

A number of Egypt’s construction firms have received a part of its financial dues worth around 200 million Egyptian pounds ($11.3 million) at the end of 2017, a source in HCCD said Wednesday.

“The construction firms wait for attaining 800 million pounds within 2018,” the source with knowledge in the county’s Holding Company for Construction and Development said (HCCD) further told Amwal Al Ghad.

The state-owned firms captured compensations of one billion pounds for housing projects and infrastructure works at the end of 2016, he stated.
