Egypt’s stock market closes higher, EGX 30 gains 0.66% on Tuesday
Egypt’s stock exchange’s (EGX) indexes ended higher on Tuesday, with the benchmark EGX 30 index gaining 0.66 percent to 11,064 points buoyed by Arab investors’ buying appetite.
The EGX 70 EWI index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) advanced 0.97 percent to 2,017 points, while the fixed-weighted index, EGX 30 Capped climbed 1.14 percent to 13,190 points. The all-embracing index, EGX 100 added 1.21 percent higher to 2,959 points. Meanwhile, the equal weights index, EGX 50 rose 1.75 percent up to 2,163 points.

Total market capitalisation has gained 5.9 billion Egyptian pounds ($377.45 million) to close at 636.208 billion pounds on Tuesday.
Trading Aggregates
Also on Tuesday, the trading value has approximately reached 3.17 billion pounds, while the trading volume has almost recorded 720.6 million securities executed 57,303 transactions.
