Egypt’s stock market index ends trading 0.54% higher on Tuesday
Egypt’s stock exchange’s (EGX) indexes finished trading higher on Tuesday, with the benchmark EGX 30 index gaining 0.54 percent to 11,339 points.
The EGX 70 EWI index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) advanced 0.65 percent to 2,204 points, while the fixed-weighted index, EGX 30 Capped dipped by 0.02 percent to 13,735 points. The all-embracing index, EGX 100 rose 0.39 percent to 3,194 points. Meanwhile, the equal weights index, EGX 50 fell 0.21 percent at 2,296 points.

Total market capitalisation has posted gains worth 800 million Egyptian pounds ($51.05 million) to close at 671.5 billion pounds on Tuesday.
Trading Aggregates
Also on Tuesday, the trading value has approximately reached 3.6 billion pounds, while the trading volume has almost recorded 525.9 million securities executed 51,715 transactions.
