Egypt’s stocks end in mixed notes, benchmark EGX 30 adds 0.17% on Monday
Egypt’s stock exchange’s (EGX) indexes closed mixed on Monday, with the benchmark EGX 30 index increasing 0.17 percent to 11,527 points.
The EGX 70 EWI index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) tumbled 1.57 percent to 2,401 points, while the fixed-weighted index, EGX 30 Capped rose 0.23 percent to 14,220 points. The all-embracing index, EGX 100 decreased 1.07 percent to 3,432 points. Meanwhile, the equal weights index, EGX 50 dropped 0.79 percent lower to 2,398 points.

Total market capitalisation has incurred losses worth 1 billion Egyptian pounds ($64 million) to close at 705.5 billion pounds driven by local investors’ selling pressures on Monday.
Trading Aggregates
Also on Monday, the trading value has approximately reached 4.3 billion pounds, while the trading volume has almost recorded 483.938 million securities executed 49,316 transactions.
