Egypt’s stocks end in mixed notes on Wednesday as main index EGX 30 adds 0.59%

Egypt’s stock exchange (EGX) closed in mixed notes on Wednesday, with the benchmark EGX 30 index growing by 0.59 percent to 11,596 points.

EGX 70 EWI index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) dipped by 0.01 percent to 2,147 points.

The all-embracing index, EGX 100 rose by 0.20 percent to 3,182 points.

Market Cap   

The country’s market capitalisation has posted gains worth around 5.3 billion Egyptian pounds ($335.8 million), ending the trading at 753.072 billion pounds buoyed by foreign investors’ buying appetite.

Trading Aggregates            

Trading value has approximately reached around 1.2 billion pounds, while the trading volume has almost recorded 437.2 million securities executed 38,200 transactions.
