Egypt’s top economic event, Amwal Al Ghad Award Ceremony 2023 takes off Tuesday

The biggest day marked in the economic calendar – Amwal Al Ghad Award Ceremony will begin on Tuesday night from 6:00 pm (3:00 GMT) at the Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at FourSeasons Hotel Nile Plaza in Cairo’s iconic Downton area.

The eighth edition of the award ceremony is themed: “Breaking Barriers and Achieving Excellence … The Power to Beat Global Challenges”, under the auspices of Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly and is organized by Amwal Al Ghad Magazine, part of the United Media Services (UMS).

The event will honour the top performing Egyptian Exchange-listed companies, high-profile economic figures and achievers of exceptional successes, as well as top entrepreneurs, among several other accolades.

It will witness the presence of state ministers and numerous high-profile Egyptian figures along with more than business male and female executives, representing the biggest companies operating in Egypt. This is in addition to a wide media coverage by local and regional channels.

This year’s event will join key CEOs of the biggest firms operating in Egypt along with heads of top-notch financial institutions and witness granting several prizes, including Top 100 Companies, Talaat Harb Award, Egyptian Sustainable Energy Awards, Top Achievers in Project Management, Entrepreneurs of the Year, Real Estate Excellence Awards, Apps of the Year, and Influencer of The Year.

Commenting on the occasion, Dina Abdel Fattah – Editor-in-Chief of Amwal Al Ghad Magazine and President of the Award Ceremony – stated:

Since 2015, Amwal Al Ghad, Egypt’s most authoritative economic and business magazine, has been releasing the first official classification made for companies and women achievers across various economic sectors in the country. The classification, made in coordination with Prime Securities, is assessing the companies’ financial indicators, including revenues, net profit, market value, and total assets. The results, which will be announced during the award ceremony, aim to reflect sustained efforts to improve the market performance under the government’s ambitious economic reform plans.
