Trade exchange between Egypt and Ghana recorded $108.3 million last year, according to a report by the Egyptian trade representation office on Monday.
Egyptian exports to Ghana increased by 65.5 percent to register $96.5 million in 2018, compared to $58.3 million in 2017, the report said.
Meanwhile, Egypt’s imports from Ghana were up by 27.5 percent to record $15.1 million in 2018, compared to $11.8 million in 2017.
The report added that 99 percent of Egypt’s imports from Ghana are raw materials, including cocoa and wood.
