The newly-appointed Egyptian Minister of Electricity and Energy, Ahmed Emam, is holding today an open dialogue with the representatives of media in the ministry. The minister will explain the challenges facing the electricity and the new mechanisms the ministry claims to implement in the forthcoming period to meet the citizens’ needs.
Emam will also review the ministry’s plans and programs to secure the stability of the electricity next summer, in addition to the procedures that the ministry will take over several important files; such as the nuclear program and the phenomenon of stealing the power, besides elucidating the relation between the ministry of electricity and the other ministries of petroleum, finance, local development and the governorates.
