Elon Musk, CEO of Twitter, has disclosed on Saturday that the platform will soon prioritise responses from followers, verified accounts, and unverified accounts in the coming weeks.
This is a major shift in the way Twitter handles responses and will have a significant impact on how users interact with each other on the platform.
In the coming weeks, Twitter will prioritize replies by:
1. People you follow
2. Verified accounts
3. Unverified accountsVerified accounts are 1000X harder to game by bot & troll armies.
There is great wisdom to the old saying: “You get what you pay for.”

Musk has previously mentioned a set of changes in the social media platform, including open source all codes to recommended tweets starting from March 31.
The changes come after Twitter’s recent massive outage earlier in March, as Musk said the platform’s algorithm needs to be rewritten completely.
