Elon Musk unveils his AI bot ‘Grok’

Elon Musk, CEO of X and Tesla, unveiled his AI bot with the name Grok on Monday, first technology out of his new AI company, xAI.

Grok is modeled based on The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, the company said.

It is equipped to have “a bit of wit,” “a rebellious streak” and ability to answer “spicy questions” that other AI might dodge, xAI added.

The bot also has access to data from X, which xAI said will give the bot a boost forward.

Musk posted a side-by-side comparison of Grok answering a question versus another AI bot, which he said had less current information.
