Elsewedy Electric to establish $22 mln transformer station in Qatar

Egyptian cable maker Elsewedy Electric announced Sunday its subsidiaries would design, supply, and establish transformer station with isolated gas system in Qatar through turnkey system.

An alliance between ElSewedy Power System Project and El Sewedy Cables Qatar had signed on June 30 a contract to design, supply, and establish transformer station with isolated gas system in Qatar.

The contract is worth QR 80 million ($22 million) and will be executed in 14 months after the signing ceremony, Elsewedy added.
