Emaar Misr , the wholly owned subsidiary of Emaar PJSC is starting to sign a partnership agreement with the Philips Solar Road Lighting Solutions Company in order to lighten Mivida, Emaar Misr’s latest development project throughout a press conference which is organizing by Emaar Misr in its headquarters in Uptown Cairo Mokattam under the auspices of the Housing Minister, Eng. Ibrahim Mahlab and Environmental Minister Dr. Laila Iskandar.
Emaar Misr has made many initiatives so as to apply the use of solar energy in lighting streets under Mivida project in New Cairo suburb, as well as to reduce the emission of carbon dioxide, energy efficiency and promote the concept of sustainability.
The company has signed today the supply and installation contract with Philips company with the presence of Housing Minister, Ibrahim Mahlab and the Environmental Minister, Laila Iskandar.
It is worth mentioning that Mivida, located in the New Cairo suburb, is being developed on 3.8 million square meters, and is revolutionizing the concept of mixed-use developments in Egypt with its stylish units available sizes that match the needs of the Egyptian market. Mivida is unique in that it is the only development in New Cairo that is designed and implemented to be eco-friendly and sustainable, and includes units designed by internationally renowned designers. Delivery in Mivida is planned to begin during 2012, and delivery of the business park is also scheduled for 2012.
