ESIH Awaits EFSA’s Approval Over Medical Microinsurance Policy

The Egyptian Saudi Insurance House submitted the medical micro-insurance policy to the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority (EFSA) to be approved, said Gamal Shehata, general manager of branches and production department at the company.

The medical micro-insurance policy offers insurance coverage for people who cannot afford high costs of medical treatment, with the deteriorating conditions of the governmental healthcare services.

The insurance policy covers the cases that require staying in hospital such as birth delivery cases. In addition, the policy extends coverage to the family of the insured with cheap premiums.

AMIG facilitated the procedures for issuing this kind of insurance policy as the required documents are one photocopy of ID or birth certificate and one personal photo for each member of the family.
