The European markets closed low on Wednesday with London’s main index, FTSE, dropping by -1.01 percent to 7,446.14, losing 75.93 points.

The German DAX fell by -1.54 percent and lost 244.89 points to close at 15,664.02.

The French main index, CAC 40, inched down by -1.54 percent to 7,098.70 after it lost 111.05 points.
