Fairmont, Raffles, Swissotel ink management deals in Egypt’s North Coast

Egypt’s Al Arabia Real Estate and Development (ARCO) signed Thursday three hotel management agreements with Fairmont Hotels, Raffles Hotels and Resorts, and Swissotel on its flagship CityStars Al Sahel in North Coast.

Fairmont will manage a hotel encompassing 350 rooms, 110 cabins, and 20 hotel villas in CityStars Al Sahel project.

Upon the second agreement, Raffles will run a 350-room hotel in the Egyptian project; while Swissotel will have a hotel there consisting of 350 rooms and 140 hotel apartments.

Frank Naboulsi, ‎Regional General Manager of Fairmont Nile City Hotel at Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, said Egyptian government is working on reviving the country’s tourism industry, pointing out that it would take some time before Egypt would restore previous rates.
