FEI To Discuss Impediments Facing Firms In Govt’s Tenders

On Wednesday The Engineering Industries Chamber, at the Federation of Egyptian Industries (FEI), and some representatives of the General Organization for Government Service will look into the problems that hamper the participation of the Egyptian firms in the government’s tenders.

Hamdy Abdel Aziz, Head of the Engineering Industries Chamber, stated that the deliberations come to activate the decision No. 736 of the Egyptian Premier, Dr Hesham Kandil. The decision is about encouraging on buying the domestic product.

He added that the meeting will take in some government’s representatives, who supervise the cabinet’s decision.  The general organization will explain and review the mechanism of making use of its services especially if there a complaint with the government body which provides the tender, more and above it will elucidate how to maximize the utilization of the decision of buying the domestic product.
