Food Industries Chamber To Remove Obstacles Facing Egyptian Exports

The Chamber of Food Industries at the Federation of Egyptian Industries will discuss the possible methods of removing the obstacles facing the Egyptian exports in foreign markets especially in South Korea and Turkey through reviewing the administrative procedures they take concerning their trade with Egypt.

The Chamber of Food Industries was informed that the World Trade Organization will review the trade policies of South Korea for the period from 19 to 21 September 2012, said Yousry Tenawy, executive manager of the Chamber.

The Chamber will first specify the obstacles that face the Egyptian exports concerning high customs tariff and customs clearance as well as the administrative procedures of Egypt and South Korea. Then, the Chamber will set some suggestions in order to improve the mutual cooperation between both countries.

Regarding trading with Turkey, the Chamber will suggest some ways to remove the difficulties facing mutual trade between both countries under the framework of the fifth session of the Egyptian-Turkish Committee.
