The Egyptian tourism sector recorded US$290 million investments in last October through the establishment of 228 firms and according to General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI)’s data.
Chairman at Memphis Tours Egypt Yehia Abu El Hassan asserted that the tourism rates declined within the current year and this is normal due to the current events and in the light of the instability of situations.
Moreover, the report which issued from GAFI elaborated that the total value of investments reached around US$381 million through the inception of 242 firms against US$682 million in 2012.
