Spot gold prices increased at 9:44 AM GMT by 0.14 per cent to $2,705.23 per ounce, compared to the previous closing price of $2,701.55.
Meanwhile, US gold futures fell 0.06 per cent to $2,746.99, compared to Friday’s closing of $2,748.7.
