Google announces A.I. feature to Gmail, Docs

Google announced that it will bring Artificial Intelligence through new features that will allow users form a text on Gmail and Docs, as it  is testing the features by making them available for a number of users on Workspace.

Johanna Voolich Wright, vice president of product for Google Workspace, wrote in a blog post about the new features saying: “whether you’re a busy HR professional who needs to create customised job descriptions, or a parent drafting the invitation for your child’s pirate-themed birthday party, Workspace saves you the time and effort of writing that first version.”

She also said that the features work by simply writing down the topic you need to write about, and drafts will be generated about the topic.

The new features will also be able to summarise mails on Gmail as well as making offers, communication with customers, and the ability to take notes.

The company added that customers will be able to set the A.I. according to their private data, however, they will keep propriety and interest.

In light of this announcement, OpenAI revealed a new A.I. tool called GPT which passed a lawyer test and was able to answer tax related questions very quickly.

In addition to its ability to understand and to speak through given texts and pictures.
