Guezira Hotels Says Net Profit 17.4% Up; H1

Guezira Hotels & Tourism (GIZF.CA) has reported a net profit of $2.077 million during the first half of 2012, 17.4% higher than a year earlier net profit of $1.769 million.

Sales hiked to $4.058 million through H1/2012, compared to $3.349 million for H1/2011.

Gross profit – after excluding the cost of sales – went up to $3.170 million for H1/2012, compared to $2.575 million a year earlier.

Basic earnings per share amounted to $0.7 for H1/2012, compared to $0.6 a year earlier.

Moreover, working capital rose 29.82% to hit $4.505 million during H1/2012, compared to $3.161 million during H1/2011.
