Gulf stocks bounce back after oil crash dragged down region

Gulf stock markets bounced back on Tuesday after tracking on Monday a dip in oil prices, which was triggered by Saudi Arabia’s decision to slash prices and set plans for a dramatic increase in crude production in April.

The Abu Dhabi index was up 4.2 percent in early trade, Dubai was up 3.2 percent and Kuwait’s main index was up 7 percent.
