H. Kong’s external trade shows growth in Nov. ’24

Hong Kong’s external merchandise trade saw positive growth in November 2024, with both total exports and imports of goods recording year-on-year increases, according to data released by the Census and Statistics Department on Monday.

The value of total exports of goods rose by 2.1 per cent in November 2024, compared to the same period last year, reaching $394.7 billion. This follows a 3.5 per cent year-on-year increase recorded in October 2024.

Simultaneously, the value of imports of goods increased by 5.7 per cent year-on-year to $438.1 billion in November 2024, following a 4.5 per cent increase in October 2024, the report added.
