Hany Mahmoud: Circulating E-Signature In Banks, Govt Institutions Within 3Years

Eng. Hany Mahmoud, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, said the ministry will activate the mechanism of electronic signature in banks and governmental institutions withing next three years.

He added that activating this mechanism on securities firm is a launch for the digital citizenship project which aims at circulating use of e-signature in all services; ID card, distributing supply dues, health care and other service.

The signature will contribute to avoiding several problems that take place at the current time in a number of institutions, in addition to increasing the insurance factor in all transactions.
