Egypt’s Nasr General Contracting Co. – Hassan Allam said Thursday the completion rate of the ring road expansion project on the Suez governorate part has jumped to 85 percent.
Speaking to Amwal Al Ghad Thursday, Madiha Reda, Managing Director for Technical Affairs and Execution at Hassan Allam, said the company has speeded up works of adding more lanes to ease traffic congestion for the ring road.
In cooperation with the Engineering Authority of the Egyptian Armed Forces, Hassan Allam is implementing the development and expansion works for the 17-kilometre road, with costs worth more than one billion Egyptian pounds (US$127.7 million).
Hassan Allam plans to hand over the ring road – Suez part expansion project by the end of 2015, Reda said.
