Arab Contractors delivers $5mn projects in Egypt’s southern borders early 2016

Egyptian leading construction firm, Arab Contractors is to deliver some residential housing projects worth 40 million Egyptian pounds (US$5 million) located in the country’s southern borders early 2016.

Mohammed Taher – Head of Arab Contractors-Red Sea Branch – told Amwal Al Ghad Thursday the company plans within January 2016 to deliver 15 residential buildings in Shalateen, situated around 1,000 kilometers (622 miles) southeast of Cairo.

In addition, Arab Contractors plans to hand over ten residential buildings in Halayeb, a mineral-rich border triangle between Sudan and Egypt, besides five others in the village of Abu Ramad just 30 kilometers (19 miles) north of Halayeb.

Taher also said the residential buildings will be delivered in cooperation with the country’s Central Authority for Reconstruction, which supervises that the housing projects, infrastructure and water network works and in the Red Sea region.

Delivering the housing units in Shalateen, Abu Ramad, and Halayeb will coincide with Red Sea governorate’s national day celebrations, the official noted.
