The Egyptian Minister of Industry and Foreign Trade, Hatem Saleh, unveiled the shortage of the industrial lands that the state needs, which estimated by 7 million square meters every year. While the actual allocations of the state barely ranges between 2 and 3 million square meters.
Saleh has underscored the necessity of the industrial developer to reduce this gap between the needs of growth plan and the available possibilities; referring that these lands had been presented for the industrial developer system.
The minister mentioned that the developer had been facing a number of obstacles in finishing the documents and licenses of establishing industrial facilities in these lands. And the ministry is trying to find solutions for this problem in order to provide facilities for the investors to get lands for establishing their investments.
