HC Sets Fair Price for Djezzy Deal at $2.5bn, 4% Lower than Offer

Financial adviser HC Securities has estimated Thursday the fair price for a 51% stake of Global Telecom Holding’s Algerian unit Djezzy at $2.539 billion.

The fair price is 4% lower than the proposed price.
Global’s parent firm, Russia-based Vimplecom, agreed to sell the stake in Algeria’s biggest telecoms operator to the Algerian government for $2.6 billion.
