Hollande: Possible Civil War in Egypt Should Be Prevented

French President Francois Hollande said that “everything possible should be done in order to prevent a civil war in Egypt.” Hollande summoned the Egyptian ambassador to France Thursday morning in order to discuss recent violent clashes in Egypt, where 421 people were killed.

Hollande added that France is committed to finding a political solution to the crisis and calls on conducting elections as soon as possible.
