Housing Minister and Giza Governor Coordinate to Remove Encroachment on 49 Apartments
Dr. Tarek Wafiq, Minister of Housing and Urban Communities, emphasized that the government will take firm actions against those who have committed encroachments on apartments during the previous period, whether these apartments were allocated to people or not.
He called upon these people to immediately leave the apartments, given that encroachments on apartments is a violation to the law.
Minister of Housing has held a meeting with Governor of Giza Dr. Ali Abdel-Rahman on Monday evening, in order to establish coordination between the Ministry, Cairo’s apparatuses, the 6th of October city apparatuses, and the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) to carry out the legal procedures required to handle these encroachments.He added that these encroachments included 49 apartments for young people located in the 6th district, noting that they have contacted security bodies who will be responsible for implementing the forced evictions decisions issued for these apartments.
