Zain Zahran, executive director of Islamic Development Bank, has revealed that the total value of agreements signed with the Egyptian government reached US$ 8.1 billion.

The latest financing package from IDB to Egypt is worth US$ 800 million and will be allocated for infrastructure projects, he added.

Zahran denied that IDB has rejected to offer aids to Arab spring countries, noting that the bank studies to sign more agreements with the Egyptian Ministry of International Cooperation.
