Indonesia exports $500K electric bicycles to US, Europe

Indonesia has successfully exported electric bicycles worth $500,000 from Sidoarjo, East Java, to the United States and European markets.

Trade Minister Budi Santoso expressed pride in this achievement, stating that it demonstrates Indonesia’s capability to produce high-tech products and cater to global market demands.

The minister highlighted the fact that most of the components used in the exported electric bicycles were sourced and assembled domestically.

The Ministry of Trade is actively working on expanding export markets through strategic trade agreements with partner countries.

Budi expressed hope that this successful export of electric bicycles would inspire more Indonesian businesses to venture into value-added product exports, thereby contributing to the nation’s economic growth.
