Insurers Compete To Provide NBE With Money Transport Insurance Policy

Insurance companies in Egypt are competing in a bid to provide the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) with a money transport insurance policy, sources said.

Sources added that NBE seeks an insurance policy against risks of fire and burglary of the bank’s money with insurance value of EGP 1.950 billion.

Misr Insurance Company, Egypt Takaful Company (Non-life), Al Mohandes Insurance Company and Arab Misr Insurance Group (AMIG) are among the insurance companies competing to provide this insurance policy.

The insurers submitted their technical envelopes last Thursday. The date of opening the financial envelopes have not decided till now.
